Intro: When learning how to draw Wonder Woman, start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.
Step 1: Start by drawing a circle near the middle of the page. This will be a guide for the top part of Wonder Woman's head. The circle doesn't have to be perfect. It's just a guide.
Step 2: Under the circle, draw an arc similar to the letter U as a guide for the lower part of Wonder Woman's head, or the jaw and chin. Both of the shapes combined form the guide for Wonder Woman's head.
Step 3: Next, draw two intersecting lines across the entire head shape, one vertical and one horizontal. Bend the lines a bit so that they contour to the shape of the head. These will be construction lines that will help you place Wonder Woman's facial features later on.
Step 4: Draw two small shapes as guides for Wonder Woman's eyes. Draw them sitting on top of the horizontal construction line and on either side of the vertical construction line. The shapes should be similar to little footballs.
Step 5: Under the main circle, draw a shape similar to a sideways letter D as a guide for Wonder Woman's mouth. The top of the mouth should be very close to the original circle.
Step 6: On the left side of Wonder Woman's head, draw an arc similar to the letter C as a guide for the ear.
Step 7: Draw two long, curved lines below the head as guides for Wonder Woman's neck and shoulders.
Step 8: That’s it for the initial sketch! You have the basic shape of Wonder Woman from Justice League Unlimited. Now go in and tighten your drawing. From this point on, press harder with your pencil in order to get darker lines and a more defined sketch.
Step 9: Tighten the outer shape of Wonder Woman's eyes. Follow the basic path of the small football-like shapes and make the outlines thicker. The sides should be pointy to represent Wonder Woman's eyelashes.
Step 10: Inside each of Wonder Woman's eyes, draw a circle for the irises. Inside each iris, draw a small circle and shade it in for the pupils.
Step 11: Draw Wonder Woman's nose using the lines as guides for placement. The line for the nose starts next to the eye on the right and the moves down to form the bridge and the tip of the nose. Use the vertical construction line and the bottom of the original circle as guides. Draw a couple of small lines on the left side of Wonder Woman's nose for the nostrils.
Step 12: Draw Wonder Woman's lips using the initial shape as a guide. Follow the basic path of the guide line and make the lips thicker. Wonder Woman's lips should be very close to the bottom edge of the original circle.
Step 13: Use the head shape as a guide to draw Wonder Woman's face. Simply darken the lines on the right side and the bottom. Dip the line in toward the eye on the right side to create her cheekbone and make her chin a bit pointier.
Step 14: On either side of the vertical construction line and above each eye, draw a long, curved shape for Wonder Woman's eyebrows. The eyebrow on the left has a peak near the top. The eyebrow on the right should be a bit smaller because of the perspective.
Step 15: Use the C-shaped arc on the left side as a guide to draw Wonder Woman's ear and the hair that covers the top part of her ear.
Step 16: Draw the tiara on Wonder Woman's forehead. The bottom part of the tiara consists of a line that has a peak pointing down near the vertical construction line. The top part is an opposite line that points up. Pay attention to the distance between the tiara and Wonder Woman's eyebrows. Don't place it too low or too high.
Step 17: Now draw the star in the middle of Wonder Woman's tiara and the star for her earring. Stars can be a little tricky to draw, so take your time and be patient as you draw them to get the shapes right.
Step 18: Darken the lines that make up Wonder Woman's neck and shoulders. Draw a couple of lines under her neck for the collarbone.
Step 19: Draw a long wavy line around the head for Wonder Woman's hair. The line starts at the shoulder on the left and moves up in a wavy motion. Then it goes up across the head and creates a minimal peak on the right side and finally comes down to the shoulder on the right in an S-like line.
Step 20: That’s it! You now have a nice sketch of Wonder Woman from Justice League Unlimited. You can stop at this quick drawing for a rough, sketchy look or go for a more finished look by continuing to the next step.
Step 21: For a more finished, inked look, carefully draw over the final sketch lines with a pen or marker. Wait for the ink to dry, and then get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser. You now have a finished inked drawing of Wonder Woman! You can stop here or go to the final step to complete your Wonder Woman drawing.
Final Step: For a completely finished Wonder Woman drawing, you have to color it. You can use markers, color pencils or even crayons! Color her hair and her eyebrow black. Wonder Woman's tiara is yellow with a band of lighter yellow on the left side for reflection. The star on the tiara and her lips are red. Her skin is peach, but if you don't have peach, you can use light brown or orange. Experiment! Wonder Woman's eyes are blue, and her earring is gray. That’s it! You now have a completed drawing of Wonder Woman from Justice League Unlimited.
