To draw Leni Loud, follow step-by-step drawings below. The new lines in each step are shown in red, and each step is explained in the text below the photo, so you'll know exactly what to draw in each step.
Intro: Start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.
Step 1: Start by drawing a small circle near the top of the paper as a guide for Leni Loud's head. First make four small marks to determine the circle's height and width. Then connect the marks using curved lines. Sketch lightly at first so that it's easy to erase if you make a mistake. If you're struggling to draw the circle, just trace the outer rim of a small, circular object like a coin or a bottle cap.
Step 2: On the lower, right side of the circle, draw a long, curved line for the bottom part of Leni's head. Pay attention to where this line begins, how it curves and where it ends. Don't draw it too low or the head will be too long.
Step 3: Across the whole head, draw two intersecting lines as construction guides to help you place Leni Loud's facial features later. Curve the lines so that they contour to the shape of the head. The vertical line should be close to the right side of the head. The horizontal line should be near the bottom of the original circle.
Step 4: Below the head, not too far down, draw a long thin, rectangular shape as a guide for Leni's body. The length of this shape should be slightly shorter than the length of the original circle. Make the bottom part a bit wider than the top.
Step 5: Draw two short lines that connect the head to the body as a guide for Leni's neck. On the left side of the body, draw a long, curved line as a guide for the first arm. The line should curve near the bottom. On the bottom tip, draw a small circle as a guide for the first hand.
