Intro: Start drawing Porky Pig with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don't press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.

 

Step 1: To draw Looney Tunes' Porky Pig, start with a big circle in the middle of the page. This will be the basic shape for Porky Pig's head.

 

Step 2: Next draw a vertical line and a horizontal line that intersects the vertical one in the bottom left side of the circle. When drawing the lines, curve them so that they follow the shape of the sphere. These will be construction lines that help you draw Porky Pig's features later on.

 

Step 3: Now draw a small triangle beneath the area where the two construction lines meet. This will be Porky Pig's nose.

 

Step 4: Draw a shape underneath the nose with its left side touching the vertical construction line. Draw the shape so it looks like the letter D on its side. Underneath that shape, draw a U-shaped curve. These are the basic shapes for Porky Pig's mouth.

Step 5: Draw a very long oval placed on top of the horizontal construction line and to the left of the vertical construction line, just grazing it at the bottom right. Draw a slightly bigger oval on the right side of the vertical construction line. These will be Porky Pig's eyes.

 

Step 6: Now draw two triangles on top of Porky Pig's head to indicate his ears.

 

Step 7: That's it for the initial sketch of Porky Pig from the Looney Tunes cartoons! You have the basic Porky Pig shape, so now you will go in and tighten your drawing. From this point on, press harder with your pencil in order to get darker lines and a more defined sketch.

 

Step 8: Tighten the shape of Porky Pig's head by tapering in the left side down to the horizontal construction line. Then bring the line back out just a bit past the circle to create Porky's cheek. Bring the line down to the U-shaped curve that will be his bottom lip. Draw the same on his right side but not as much. Round out his ears so they aren't so pointy, and draw two small lines within the right ear to indicate the inside of Porky Pig's ear.

Step 9: Darken in the shape of Porky Pig's nose, making sure to round out the triangle. On the inside of it, draw to small ovals to represent Porky Pig's nostrils.

 

 

Step 10: Tighten the shape of Porky Pig's mouth by curving it up more and making it narrower. Draw a curved line at the top right of it to indicate his cheek and laugh line. Draw a curve inside of the mouth to indicate Porky Pig's tongue and darken his lower lip.

 

Step 11: Darken in the shape of Porky Pig's eye and draw two lines underneath them, which represent the tops of his cheeks. Draw two ovals on the lower right side of each eye to represent his pupils. Draw two curves over the right eye and one over the left eye to indicate the folds of skin on this Looney Tunes character's forehead.

 

Step 12: That's it! You now have a nice sketch of Porky Pig from the Looney Tunes cartoons. You can stop at this quick drawing for a rough, sketchy look or go for a more finished look by continuing to the step below.

 

Step 13: For a more finished, inked look, carefully draw over the final sketch lines with a pen or marker. Wait for the ink to dry, and then get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser. Final Step: For a completely finished Porky Pig drawing, you have to color it. You can use markers, color pencils or even crayons! Porky Pig is a simple character to color. Just color his head peach, and if you don't have peach, improvise! Use light orange or pink instead. Use anything that looks good; just experiment.
