Step 10: Inside the head, near the left side, draw two thin ovals for Christmas Mickey's eyes. Draw the eyes on top of the horizontal guide line and on either side of the vertical guide line. The eye on the left should be a bit smaller. Don't overlap the guide for the muzzle as you draw this Disney cartoon character's eye. Inside each eye, on the lower, right side, draw a small oval for the pupils. The pupil on the left should be smaller. Shade in the ovals and don't overlap the guide for the muzzle.
Step 11: On top of the guide for the muzzle, lightly sketch a small oval for the nose. Make the bottom of the oval a bit thinner than the top. When you get the shape right, darken the lines. Tilt Mickey Mouse's nose to the left a bit. There should be a narrow gap between the nose and the head. Darken the top edge of the initial guide for the first part of the muzzle. Darken the bottom of the guide but continue to draw the line farther to the right and inside the head. Curve the line up toward the horizontal line for the mouth. Add a shorter line at the top for a smile line.
Step 12: Under the previous curved line, draw a narrower, U-shaped line for Christmas Mickey's open mouth. The bottom of the mouth should be close to the bottom edge of the initial circle. Make the top of the mouth wide. Add a curved line below the mouth for the lower lip. Inside the mouth, draw two short, curved lines for the tongue.
Step 13: Inside the head, lightly sketch a long, curved line across the top, right side for the bottom of Christmas Mickey's Santa hat. When you get the position right, darken the line using shorter, curved lines for the hat's fluff. Pay attention to the distance between the bottom of the hat and Mickey's eyes. Draw the sides of the fluffy hat using a series of short, curved lines at either end. Lightly sketch another long, curved line at the top for the rest of the hat's base. When you get the position right, darken the line using short, angled lines for the fluffy texture.
Step 14: Darken the visible edges of the initial circle to create the rest of Mickey Mouse's head. Draw the lower, right side of the head slightly higher than the original circle. Draw a curved line over the right side of the smile for the color separation on the head. Use the horizontal line as a guide. Draw a vertical line that curves toward Christmas Mickey's Santa hat for more of the separation. Above the eyes, draw a small V-shaped line for the visible part of the widow's peak like section.
