To draw Peppa Pig step by step, follow the step-by-step drawings below. The new lines in each step are shown in red, and each step is explained in the text below the photo, so you'll know exactly what to draw in each step. Take your time and draw at your own pace.

 

Intro: Start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.

 

 

Step 1: Draw two small circles near the top of the paper for Peppa Pig's eyes. Notice that the circle on the left is slightly higher than the one on the right. They're also very close together but not touching.

 

Step 2: Inside each eye, near the bottom, right side, draw a dot for Peppa Pig's pupils.

Step 3: To the left of the eyes, draw a big oval for Peppa Pig's nose. Pay attention to how big this this oval is in relation to the eyes; it's pretty big. Also, look how far away from the eyes it is; it's not very far.

 

Step 4: Inside Peppa Pig's nose, near the middle, draw two dots for her nostrils.

 

Step 5: Starting at the top of the nose, draw a long line that slopes over the eyes for the top part of Peppa Pig's head. Below the nose, draw a shorter sloping line for the bottom part of the snout.

Step 6: Below the current shapes, draw a big, curved line for the rest of Peppa Pig's head. This curved line should almost be a circle. Look how far down the lower edge of the head is from Peppa's eyes.

 

Step 7: On top of Peppa Pig's head, draw two thin, short arcs for her ears. The first ear should be directly above the eye on the right, and the other ear should be farther down on the right.

Step 8: On the lower half of Peppa Pig's head, near the left side, draw a shape that's similar to a crescent moon for the open mouth.

 

Step 9: Add Peppa Pig's dress by first drawing two long, curved vertical lines under the head, on the sides. At the bottom, connect these lines using a long, horizontal line for the bottom edge of the dress.

 

Step 10: On the left side of the body, at the top, draw a line that slopes upward for Peppa Pig's waving arm. At the top, draw two short lines for the fingers. On the right side of the body, draw another line that slopes down for Peppa's other arm. Don't forget the small lines for the fingers at the end!

Step 11: Under the dress, draw two short lines for Peppa Pig's legs. At the end of each leg, draw a thin, long shape and shade it in for the shoes. The shoes should be a little bit thicker on the left sides and thinner on the right sides.

 

Step 12: To the right of the dress, on the bottom, draw a curly line for Peppa Pig's tail. The tail should curve in the middle and form a loop.

Step 13: Go over the lines using color pencils, markers or crayons. For a better look, LIGHTLY erase some of your pencil lines so that the colors don't smudge the graphite. Use pink for Peppa Pig's head, arms, legs and tail. Red for the dress and black for the shoes and pupils.

 

Final Step: Color your Peppa Pig drawing using color pencils markers or crayons. Use light pink for the head. The inside of the mouth should be black. Use dark pink or hot pink to add a circle to the cheek for blush. Use red for the dress.
