Step 1: Draw the vampire's nose as a small angled line. Sketch lightly at first so you can erase if you make a mistake. The shape should be similar to a less-than sign (<) with the bottom end curled up.

Step 2: Above the nose and to the left, draw a short, thick line for the first eyebrow. To the right, draw a long, thick diagonal line for the other eyebrow. Having one eyebrow raised higher gives the vampire a more sinister look.

Step 3: Under each eyebrow, draw a half-circle for the eyes. The vampire's eye on the right should be a lot bigger. Inside each eye, draw a small circle for the irises and inside each iris, draw a dot for the pupils.

Step 4: Below the nose, draw a long line for the top part of the mouth. Curve the line so that it turns into a smile. Under the mouth, on either end, draw a V-shaped line for the fangs. Add the vampire's teeth in the middle as a horizontal line.

Step 5: Draw a short line on either side for the bottom part of the vampire's mouth. In the middle, draw the tongue as a U-shaped line with a couple of curved lines at the top.

Step 6: To the right of the vampire's face, draw the ear using a series of curved lines. Make the top of the ear pointy. Add some lines inside for structure. Add the bottom part of the head by first drawing a line from the eye on the left to the tongue. Under the tongue, add a curved line that connects to the ear for the chin and jaw.

Step 7: Above the eyes, draw the hair line using curved lines. The hairline should have a point in the middle for the widow's peak. The line should be pointy on the right next to the ear for the sideburn. Draw a long, curved line above that for the top part of the vampire's hair/head.

Step 8: Under the head, on the right side, draw a short, curved line for the vampire's neck. Below the neck and head, draw the shirt's collar using a couple of V-shaped lines.

Step 9: To the left of the vampire's head, draw an angled line similar to a less- than sign (<) for the cape's collar. To the right of the head, draw an angled line similar to a greater-than sign (>) for other side of the cape's collar. Under the shirt's collar, draw a small circle with three lines on top for a medallion.

Step 10: To the right of the head, draw a couple of parallel diagonal lines for the vampire's first arm. As you draw the arm, don't overlap the lines for the cape's collar.

Step 11: Draw the hand above the arm using a series of short, curved lines for the fingers. The vampire's thumb and index finger are made up of two U-shaped lines joined at the top by a longer line. Now add the other two fingers to the right using a couple more short U-shaped lines. Draw the bottom part of the hand under the fingers as a couple of wider curved lines.

Step 12: Use two parallel, diagonal lines on the left side to draw the vampire's other arm the same way.

Step 13: Now draw the hand on the left the same way as the hand on the right but reversed. First use a couple of short U-shaped lines for the thumb and index finger. Then use more curved lines to the left for the vampire's other fingers and add the hand at the bottom.

Step 14: Under the medallion, draw three vertical lines connected at the bottom for the shirt. Notice that the vertical lines on the sides don't connect to the lines for the arms at the top.

Step 15: Under the shirt, on either side, draw a long line for the pants. The longer the lines, the taller the vampire will be. Add another line in the middle. Connect the lines at the bottom using short, sloping lines.

Step 16: Draw the vampire's shoes at the bottom by using a couple of curved lines on each side. Make the tips point outward. Add a bump on the inside of each shoe for the heels.

Step 17: Starting at the collar, draw two short lines that connect to the shirt for the first part of the jacket. Now add the outside edge of the vampire's jacket by drawing a long line on either side that angles up at the bottom.

Step 18: Draw a curved line along the bottom of each arm for the top part of the vampire's cape. Now starting at the wrists, draw two long, curved lines for the sides of the cape. You can make these lines as long as you'd like. Draw a series of curved lines toward the legs for the bottom part of the cape. The section where the curved lines meet should form points to resemble bat wings.

Step 19: Using a pen or marker, carefully go over the lines to make your drawing permanent. After inking, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser.

Final Step: Color your drawing any way you want using color pencils, markers or even crayons. For a classic vampire look, use black for the hair, suit and shoes but leave a squiggly section on the hair blank for shine. Use peach lightly for the skin. Vampires are supposed to be pale, so you can leave it blank too. Use red for the cape, the medallion's strap and the eyes. Use yellow for the medallion, brown for the inside of the mouth and pink for the tongue.
