To draw this Minecraft Skeleton step by step, follow along with the video tutorial below and pause the video after each step to go at your own pace. You may find it easier to follow the step-by-step drawings below. The new lines in each step are shown in red, and each step is explained in the text below the photo, so you'll know exactly what to draw in each step. You may want to open the video in a new tab and use both drawing methods! Take your time and draw at your own pace.

The Narrated step-by-step video tutorial:

Intro: Start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.

Step 1: Draw three vertical lines near the top of the paper as guides for the first part of the Minecraft Skeleton's head. The line in the middle should be slightly longer than the other two lines. The line on the right should be farther away from the line in the middle than the line on the left.

Step 2: Connect the vertical lines at the top and bottom using sloping horizontal lines to finish the guide for the Skeleton's head. The lines on the left should slope more than the ones on the right.

Step 3: Inside the head, on the right side, draw a couple of intersecting as guides to help you place the Minecraft Skeleton's facial features later. These lines should divide the right side of the head into four fairly equal smaller squares.

Step 4: Under the head, draw a long, angled line as a guide for the Skeleton's torso. This lines should be similar to a square with the top part missing. Pay attention to the size of this shape in relation to the head.

Step 5: On the sides of the head, draw two very long vertical lines as guides for the Skeleton's arms. The line on the left should have an extra bent portion at the top so that it connects to the torso. The line on the left should also be longer than the one on the right because of the way the body will be turning.

Step 6: Below the torso, draw a short, vertical line as a guide for the Skeleton's spine. Under the spine, draw a small rectangular shape as a guide for the pelvis. The lines for the top and bottom of the pelvis should slope a bit. The lines for the side should be vertical and they should be short.

Step 7: Under the pelvis, draw two more long, vertical lines as guides for the Minecraft Skeleton's legs. Draw the legs close to the left edge of the pelvis. These lines should be similar in length but because of the tilt of the pelvis the line on the left will appear longer.

Step 8: On the left side of the body draw a long shape that's similar to the letter D on its side as a guide for the Skeleton's bow. The top line of the bow should slope a bit and it should overlap a bit of the arm and pelvis. The bottom line of the bow should curve and it should overlap the pelvis and part of the leg. Pay attention to the size of this shape in relation to the body.

That's it for the guides! For the next steps, use darker lines for a more defined drawing.

Step 9: Inside the head, under the horizontal construction line, draw two small rectangles for the Skeleton's eyes. Use the construction lines as guides to help you determine the size and position of the eyes. Pay attention to how far apart the eyes are.

Step 10: Below the eye, in the middle, draw another small rectangle for the Skeleton's nose. This rectangle should be roughly the same size as one of the eyes.

Step 11: Under the nose, draw a thin, long rectangle as for the Minecraft Skeleton's mouth. The sides of the mouth should extend as far out as the eyes. Leave a gap under the mouth that's about the same thickness as the mouth itself.

Step 12: Darken the first few lines to create the shape of the Skeleton's head. Don't forget the line inside the head on the left (not the construction lines).

Step 13: Use the vertical line on the left side of the body as a guide to draw the Skeleton's first arm. Darken the line and then draw two more vertical lines parallel to the first one to make the shape of the arm thicker. The line on the left should be closer to the line in the middle than the line on the right. Close off the shape at the top and bottom by drawing a few short lines.

Step 14: Use the initial curved shape under the arm as a guide to draw the Skeleton's bow. Draw the bottom edge of the bow first. Draw a series of angled lines along the basic curved path of the line to create the blocky lower edge of the bow. This can be a difficult shape, so sketch lightly at first to get the angled line right. The top edge of the bow should also be made up of angled lines but it should be smaller because a big part of it will be hiding behind the arm.

Step 15: Draw a series of small diamonds across the initial line above the bow for the bow's string. A big part of the string will be hidden behind the arm, so only draw the visible portion.

Step 16: Everything in Minecraft is made up of blocks, so add a few angled lines to the right of the bow to make the shape blockier and three-dimensional. The string at the top becomes a series of tiny blocks on their side. The bow at the bottom becomes slightly thicker.

Step 17: Use the square under the head as a guide to draw the Skeleton's chest and ribs. Add an angled shape under the head. Follow the path of the sides of the guide as you indent the shape to create ribs. Follow the path at the bottom too but indent the middle part a bit too.

Step 18: Just like with the bow, add a series of angled lines on the left side of the chest shape to make it thicker and more three-dimensional. Don't draw the angled lines too long or the shape will be too thick. At the bottom draw two small squares.

Step 19: Darken the line in the middle to create the Skeleton's spine. Add more lines on the side to make the spine thicker. Add a line at the top for the part of the spine that's peeking through the chest shape. Darken the initial rectangle for the pelvis but don't overlap the bow. Add some lines above the shape to make the pelvis thicker and more three-dimensional.

Step 20: Darken the line on the right to create the Skeleton's other arm. Add a couple more line on the left to make the arm thicker. A big part of the arm will be behind the chest shape so don't overlap it.

Step 21: Darken the shape under the body on the left side for the Minecraft Skeleton's first leg. Add a couple of shorter, vertical lines on the sides to make the shape thicker. Close off the shape at the bottom by using two short sloping lines.

Step 22: Use the last line under the body as a guide to draw the Skeleton's other leg the same way. Darken the guide and then add two shorter lines on the sides to make the shape of the leg thicker. Close off the shape at the bottom using short, sloping lines.

Step 23: Go over the final sketch lines with a pen, marker or any other type of permanent ink. Take your time and be careful when you ink to avoid any accidents. After the ink dries, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser for a cleaner drawing of a Minecraft Skeleton.

Final Step: Color your drawing using colored pencils, markers or crayons! Use gray for the whole body. Use a slightly darker gray for the nose. Use black for the eyes, mouth and the for the string on the bow. Color the bow brown.
